Issue Sixty Three | October 2019
“As a fire blazes brightly when the covering of ash over it is scattered by the wind, the divine fire within the body shines in all its majesty when the ashes of desire are scattered by the practice of pranayama.”

COMMUNITY
“I am so grateful to have been able to share the teachings of my teacher, Faeq Biria with the IYCD community last month. I invited Faeq Biria to come to Denver over 2 years ago thinking how great it would be for students of the wonderful community that I’m a part of, to get to study with a teacher of his caliber. He shared his knowledge of the asanas, deep wisdom of philosophy and light hearted sense of humor. I didn’t realize how much the work and stress associated with putting on an event of this caliber would be. From making sure he was comfortable and had everything he needed to organizing flowers, camphor, deities, food for the puja along with food and refreshments for the breaks at the Denver workshop. But, WOW! It all came together! We received so much gratitude from the participants reassuring me, it was all worth it. I am so grateful for all of the efforts of the IYCD team, community and my family. From the bottom of my Heart – THANK YOU! Namaste.”
