- SCHOLARSHIP (Mandy Coates) – Update on post notification of recent recipients; Application offering

- Scholarship letters were sent out to recipients.
- Mandy will reach out with scholarship plans for 2024
- MEMBERSHIP (Kyoung Suk Kim) – Update on June 21st potential gathering

- Alyssa talked with Angie about teaching at an IMIYA event. She expressed interest.

- Board discussed bringing Brian Hogencamp to Colorado for workshop. Potential venues include Living Yoga, renting a studio, or holding it in Colorado Springs. Denver has a larger community of students to draw from for a workshop.

- Ada and Joanne had a long conversation about the website and the brochure. Share these ideas with Charlotte.
- Charlotte will reach out to Aaron Fleming (previous Board member) to get his financial opinion on the website proposal quote.
- OUTREACH/COMMUNICATION (Alyssa Sikora, Suki)
- Alyssa has been working on the newsletter and promoting regional events. She is also working on the Teacher Feature for the IMIYA Instagram. Board discussed Idea about a student feature involving long-time and new students to share their reasons for practicing Iyengar Yoga.

- Updated Brochure. The Board would like an updated Brochure to hand out to students and have it available at studios/events to promote both Iyengar Yoga and the national and regional associations.

- QR code discussion
- Board discussed ways to bring in new members – both non-Iyengar and Iyengar students. It would be good to share that member benefits are not just for teachers. What are some ways to share this information? This is a tough hurdle to reach non-Iyengar students. Non-members are able to attend some of the IYNAUS events but may not be aware of them.
- OTHER- BYLAWS- Update – Rebecca Wallace

- Rebecca has been talking with Ramona about the by-laws particularly about the language. Ramona suggested IYNAUS’s by-laws as a template and including language that is required for Colorado. Rebecca is working on a draft and will share with Ramona. Next steps would be who needs the by-laws and that the CO secretary of state needs to have them. Do they need to be Filed with the IRS?

- Regional Rep- Rebecca Wallace’s name has been submitted for position pending IYNAUS Board approval

- Rebecca has been accepted as the regional rep for IYNAUS. They have a quarterly board meeting. Onboarding starts in April. Next in-person meeting will be in Philadelphia in August 2024 (location of next convention).
- Potential Board openings

- Three openings coming up soon. We need to be thinking about people who could potentially fill these roles. Do we want board members to be CIYTs?

- The three roles that are opening up soon are: Treasurer, President, and Vice-president.
