Regional Rep/Vice President (Rebecca Wallace)
Two IYNAUS SCHOLARSHIPS to be awarded for CONVENTION. Each region will receive the equivalent of two full registrations for the Philadelphia convention. Regions can decide how to use the scholarships. For instance, you could do four half registrations. Once we have our awardees, the Board will let IYNAUS know and they will take care of it on their end. Registration will go up November 1st. At the last convention, we had about 7 applicants for assistance with convention registration fees. This is for in-person registration only. IMIYA can also offer additional support for members to attend. The Board discussed how to best distribute this offering from IYNAUS. Tentative deadline is October 15th and the deadline for the Grants committee to decide – Monday October 20th. The Board can create a separate form for the IYNAUS offering. Rebecca will review IYNAUS wording.

The Board discussed the gathering, schedule and tasks. Meeting during lunch
T-shirts: Ideas – generic IMIYA t-shirt available all the time. Melanie and Mandy liked the font used in the Iyengar brochure.
Do we want the t-shirt to be a member benefit? Or a fundraising activity for IMIYA
Convention t-shirt. Talked about having a contest. Guidelines for t-shirt design. Needs to say IMIYA, has a sutra, no date and a pose. These could be changed. Perhaps people could bring their old IMIYA shirts to give people some kind of framework. Narrow it down to three and then hold a vote – just the Board or all the members.
T-shirt design at gathering – a way to gather ideas.

Suggestion: Add folder of photos to the google drive so that we can use them across social media, emails, etc.
