Welcome: Kara Durland, Kudos for a great Newsletter!
Check in & feedback about Gathering, Kudos to the entire Board for hosting the gathering! Thank you to Sara for all her work and efforts for this event. There was discussion about why the gathering was smaller this year. IMIYA might consider trying to have it very close to the same date every year. A few new people came as well as 2 new people from Colorado Springs. The program and class taught were valuable and interesting, however there were issues with the audio on the recording which rendered it unable to share with others not in attendance. This piece would benefit from testing next time if IMIYA plans something like this in the future.

BOARD MEETING – structure, quorum for discussion/voting?
Flexibility in schedule, DayTime, discussion about picking a new date & time and maybe moving to a meeting every 2 months for 1.5 hours.
Continue as-is through the end of 2025
Maybe use a schedule picker to decide on a day of the month and time of day.

2 applicants so far, deadline Oct. 31
IYNAUS Convention grants
2 full registrations from IYNAUS – ($1800 value)
When do we grant the IYNAUS monies? Deadline is October 31
?? grants from IMIYA – open applications next year, board will make decisions at next month’s meeting
